Polly Lawrence has lived in the Roxborough Park area of Colorado for 25 years. She raised two children in Colorado with her husband, while remaining an active member of her community.
Rep. Lawrence was an officer and board member of Lawrence Construction, a project manager and estimator in the construction industry. She has also been a statewide convention chair and a legislative committee member for both the South Metro Chamber of Commerce and the Colorado Contractors Association.
She is a lifelong Republican and a member of the Douglas County Chairman’s Club. Rep. Lawrence graduated from the Leadership Program of the Rockies and soon became a local precinct leader. She was a founding member of the Rocky Mountain Minority Contractor’s Association, a PTA president, a volunteer for the Girl Scouts of America, a volunteer for the Boy Scouts of America, a volunteer and counselor with Muscular Dystrophy, a sponsor for the National Sports Center for the Disabled and a member of the Roxborough Women’s Network. She graduated from Wheat Ridge High School and Colorado State University, with a BFA.
